More Spring Paper Piecings

I guess I should have named this blog the all paper piecing blog because that is all I seem to put up here :) I missed posting last week because I have a terrible time with my pain. It was just to hard for me to think about scrapbooking when the pain was so bad I could not eat. It's one way to lose weight but not a way I would recommend. Moving on to happier things - check out my baby chicks, hatching just in time for the upcoming season. Aren't they cute!? I love them so much I have made them for the last three Easter's and given them away to my scrapbooking friends. They are quick and so easy to make. The longest part is tearing the paper for the chick's body. A little water and a thin paint brush was all I needed for that. I do recommend using a think paper, maybe something textured. I hope to be able to try them with Mulberry paper this weekend and maybe get a little more of a 'fuzzy' look. Let me know what you think! I love reading your posts!
