A New BABY and a New Project!!

Here is my new project....well kind of new. I had made a set of these little ladies in all kinds of different positions , sold them, then promptly lost the patterns. I am trying to re-draw them. As I am not the best artist, it is slow going.

Meet our new baby! Here I thought I was done
with the baby thing..then our little Thor came along. Isn't he just adorable?

Juat Playing With a New Toy!

I have had the new version of Make the Cut for a few weeks. I started with easier projects but these two were a bit challenege.

The butterfly turned out okay . My camera did not seem to pick up the colors very well.

This is and intricate doily I made for a friend who was having a Valentine's Day party. They turned out well but were very fragile.

Belated Happy Valentine's day!!!

Okay the pictures are not so great but this was my first attempt at Iris folding. All things considered, it turned decent. It's easy so I will be trying this again in more challenging designs. No doubt you will more of this type of project.

So what do ya'all think? I miss your helpful ideas!

Ice, Sleet, Snow And.....

Well, I did what I said I was planing - while the Midwest was pelted with freezing rain, sleet, snow and wind, I tried Iris Folding. All thing considered, I think everything turned out fine. We ended up with 2 inches of sleet, about an inch of ice, and around 11 inches of snow - we kept our power the whole time, though!

Anyway, here is my very first attempt at Iris Folding. It was pretty easy. I think I will be trying some more difficult patterns soon. What do you guys think? I am not done with the card yet, it needs a little something more..any ideas?
